man oh man...i had a touch of insomnia last night and subjected myself to bad BASIC cable (no dish yet) ALL night...infomercials and for the first time POLTERGEIST III (thanks to st. louis 11)...anyone seen this pile of massive %$#@?

the acting...and the whole movie is nothing but people being sucked into or spit out of puddles, pools, mirrors, and doorways (hmmm...Matrix Reloaded parrallels?)...

the scene of the attacking cars in the parking garage...the bottomless puddle...the plummeting elevator...man oh man does this movie suck...still, i'm thankfull it was on...it was after all a BADMOVIE...i loved every minute in that sadistic way we here all know so well...

As bad as this was, it was loads better than the abyss of suck that was Poltergeist II: The Other Side.  Sadly the movie was released incomplete.  Heather O'Rourke (the little girl who played Carol Anne) died during filming and writer/director Gary Sherman (the man behind such cult classics as Death Line aka Raw Meat, Dead & Buried, Vice Squad, and the Rutger Hauer starrer Wanted: Dead or Alive) shot a bogus ending just to finish a movie the studio demanded and he no longer cared about.

I love Poltergeist, but does Spielburg have anything to do with these two??
