Hello friends. Yet again I'm pondering a title of a film with only the basic recollection of who, what and where. I'm rather good normally with these things but in this case I could use a little help. The main focus is on a group of women/woman being stalked by a survivalist. Forrest setting. Guy wears furs, uses knives, snare traps and I'm quite sure a bow and arrow. Wether its a group or a single person, they attempt to fight back. Thats all I really have to go on. Hopefully someone can feel in the blanks. thanks - John.

A couple movies come to mind but it wasn't exclusively women in the groups. The killer was a lot like you described though. THE FINAL TERROR (1981) and DON'T GO IN THE WOODS (1981). Have a look at those.

Not that I recall. The villain reminds me of the character "uncle Jack" from One Crazy summer. Kind of sleazy in nature. And I'm sure he was a survivalist of some kind. Lived off the land etc. Then again I'm not sure at this point. Something that I kind of remember is that he'd always get kinda close to the woman but she'd get away. She also didn't have much clothing on. Possibly just under garments.

Again another brick in the wall. I have simply exhausted most of my resources. I know for certain that it is not BODY COUNT due to I have seen that many times. Love the axed hand scene. Who needs fingers right... This may narrow it down some, it's not a slasher film. Or I should say not filmed in that motif. The production was pretty tight nit really, good camera work and location. But I cant remember much other then I enjoyed the one ill fated viewing. Damn I wish I could remember. Trust me, I appreciate your effort friend.

There is a porno movie called "Arrowhead" that has a plot - no, really - almost exactly as you describe. A group of women go in the woods, one of them is raped by a survivalist nut, the other women kill him, then the survivalist's crazy brother tracks them down and kills them all one-by-one. Also, there is hardcore sex, usually rape-themed. Had I known the movie would be like that, I'd have never rented it. Masturbating at women being stalked, raped, and killed doesn't do it for me.

Anyway, there was a featurette on the DVD where they said there was another version of the movie with the sex edited out that was released as a "real" movie, though I'm not sure if it was still called "Arrowhead" in that format. That's maybe not much help but you can look up "Arrowhead", if you wish, and see if that gets you anywhere.

This could be it. This plot point you added about the brother rings a big bell. I do agree with you though, I do not watch cinema for smut, foul and disgusting. To each his own I suppose. Now I would have seen this on "cable". Probably sometime during the 90's. A television network would have some serious jewels in its Dr.Jones satchel to air this movie. I don't recall any of the rape, only stalking and killing. Though we all know the beauty of editing. Thanks.

Sounds kinda like "Naked Fear". She's a stripper who gets kidnapped and let loose in the woods for the guy to hunt. She spends at least half of the 'hunt' completely naked and the killer is CONSTANTLY getting close to her and she gets away. Here's the imdb:

Sounds close. Similar plot and all. But I watched this when I was a kid. And I'm 30 now. Naked Fear was made in 2007, so unless there is time travel....

Arrowhead? I dont see it on IMDB... (there was a few movies I've seen that was edited and renamed as a different movie)

There is a ton of slasher films in the woods (thanks to Friday the 13th)
