How y'all doing out there?  It feels so good to be back in the greatest city in the world (New York City).  I tell ya, three month in Georgia was not all bad (we just couldn't go the Atlanta).  But as you saw in the news, the war was rather quick and the death of Saddam (yeah right), there was no use for my unit anymore.  I came back on Sunday, but I couldn't do it till now.  So what happen while I was gone?

And thanks for at least being willing to put your neck on the line.

Gee, let's see what stories to tell.
How about Andrew was almost taken over by a Mecha-Andrew. . .

I was just saying to my wife the other day that the conflict was mercifully short.  I think that the looting did more damage to the infrastructure than the fighting.

We have been talking about movies a good bit.  Everything and anything, you name it.  There was a recent interesting discussion about some underlying themes in "Cemetery Man."  That sticks out in my mind.

On my side of things, my daughter came into the world last month.  I have also been knocking out a couple of heavily-requested movies.  "Manos" and "The Creeping Terror" went up.  "Yor - The Hunter from the Future" is going live this weekend.  And, like King Kong, I was able to defeat my robot counterpart.

Well, let me give you a idea how we had it down south.  The training was good (I can't really what my unit's MOS is or what kind of training we did.  The wrong people can eavesdrop so, hush-hush).  Oh, first of all we were in Ft. Stewart, in Georgia, we had to live in old-school barracks (or, as I like to call them: the projects).  Notwithstanding the almost always night on the town, we bought tv's, dvd players, PS2, and gamecubes just to keep ourselves entertained.  I did see the Lakers get their ass beat (YES!!!!!) with Kobe and Derek cr;ying (in Nelson's voice) ha-ha.

I did get to see a couple of movies off post, I went to see Cradle 2 the Grave, and might I say, no man can drop from the side of a building like that.  The only letdown was Gabrielle Union giving a lap dance to a guy, stripped her clothes to her panties but only her back was shown.  What a ripoff!

I also saw X2, damn good movie.  A little slow, but good.  Iceman finally getting some play time, Pyro proving the big explosions ( where was his Aussie accent?), the fight scene with Wolverine and Lady Deathstrike, and Colossus (I know it was short but, oh Colossus)

I have yet to see Matrix Reloaded but it will be seen, believe me.

Hmm.  Let's see.  I got a hamster for my daughter, there was a leak in the bathroom and Theresa left to work at another office.  Will that do?
