I don't think I went to the theaters in 1991 at all, but this list gave me a huge video rental flashback. Seen all except Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II and What About Bob?.
We made fun of Kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and The Silence of the Lambs became one of my most viewed movies throughout the 90s. Good times.

oh come on 1991, Ski School should have been up there.

ChocolateChipCharlie

I went through a T2 phase in my early teens when I thought it was the best movie ever.  It's not, but it's pretty good.

Silence of the Lambs is one of my favorites.  Top 20 all-time in my book.

Saw Robin Hood in the theater and fell asleep.  It was too long and I was only 9.  It's fairly enjoyable, but cheesy.

Saw TMNT2 in the theater.  Didn't fall asleep but it was terrible compared to the original.

Big fan of Star Trek 6 - might be my favorite of the series.

Psycho Circus

I've never thought Hot Shots! was funny.

01. $204,843,345 - Terminator 2: Judgment Day (I appreciate it for what it is)
02. $165,493,908 - Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (What a POS. If I ever have to be subjected to a single clip it will be too soon)
03. $145,863,363 - Beauty and the Beast (I liked it)
04. $130,742,922 - The Silence of the Lambs (it seems the forum is fairly split on this film. I've always liked it)
05. $124,033,791 - City Slickers (Liked it, still do)
06. $119,654,823 - Hook (I actually liked this movie)
07. $113,502,426 - The Addams Family (So-so, but I will always appreciate it for starting the career of my screen crush Christina Ricci)
08. $101,599,005 - Sleeping with the Enemy (I liked it okay)
09. $089,325,780 - Father of the Bride (so-so)
10. $086,930,411 - The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear (not as good as the first but still good)

16. $074,787,599 - The Prince of Tides (torture)

18. $069,467,617 - Hot Shots! (myeh)
19. $063,707,829 - What About Bob? (I don't know what it is about this movie but I've always liked it)

Mr. DS

Ah yes, T2 Judgement Day that brings back memories!  That was the first film I saw more than once in the theater.  I actually remember being so jacked about that film coming out.  My father and I saw it around the time it first came out and shortly thereafter saw it again.  Oddly I remember arriving 5 minutes late the second time.  It was kind of spur of the moment that we went to go see it again.

The Naked Gun 2 and 1/2 I think I may have seen in the theaters but can't recall for sure.

DOMESTIC GROSSES #1–20

01. $204,843,345 - Terminator 2: Judgment Day (arguably the start of the modern dumbed down explosion laden FX actionfests but better than most of them for sure)

01. $204,843,345 - Terminator 2: Judgment Day\
HATE  :hatred:

02. $165,493,908 - Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
I actually like this movie a lot.

03. $145,863,363 - Beauty and the Beast
Meh.

04. $130,742,922 - The Silence of the Lambs
Not too good, imho.  Lecter is just too absurd for even Anthony Hopkins to sell, and I thought so even at the time.  I'd much rather the movie had just been about Buffalo Bill.

05. $124,033,791 - City Slickers
Didn't enjoy.

06. $119,654,823 - Hook
I loved Hook, couldn't understand why it was a failure.

07. $113,502,426 - The Addams Family
Not very good.

08. $101,599,005 - Sleeping with the Enemy
Meh.

09. $089,325,780 - Father of the Bride
???

10. $086,930,411 - The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear
I liked it, maybe not as much as the first.

11. $082,418,501 - Fried Green Tomatoes
Jessica Tandy's character tricked people into eating human flesh.  Tricked people into eating human flesh.  And we're supposed to like this character?  f**k YOU, movie.

12. $079,091,969 - Cape Fear
Utterly misguided remake and, for my money, one of the all-time stinkers, right up there with movies like the '76 King Kong and Exorcist II.  I kept watching just to see how bad it could get, and it kept getting worse and worse right up until the credits rolled!  Amazing.

13. $078,656,813 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II
Never saw, though I did enjoy the first one.  This one seemed too juvenile.

14. $077,868,585 - Backdraft
Kind of light on plot but I enjoyed it.

15. $074,888,996 - Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
It's a toss-up between this and Wrath of Khan as to which is my favorite Trek movie.

16. $074,787,599 - The Prince of Tides
???

17. $070,405,498 - JFK
No way, no how.

18. $069,467,617 - Hot Shots!
Hilarious.

19. $063,707,829 - What About Bob?
Never saw.

20. $060,830,285 - 101 Dalmatians (Re-issue) (1991)
I don't like 101 Dalmations.  Never did.

01. $204,843,345 - Terminator 2: Judgment Day----This one was a blast. Although I didn't really like the restriction against Arnold's Terminator killing anyone. That was a bit ominous.

02. $165,493,908 - Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves-----POS. It was just so wrong.  Alan Rickman was the only good thing about it.

03. $145,863,363 - Beauty and the Beast----Cute. It helped Disney alot. Little kids still love it today. I'd say a minor Disney classic.

04. $130,742,922 - The Silence of the Lambs--- I thought it was pretty thrilling.
05. $124,033,791 - City Slickers-----Better than I expected.
06. $119,654,823 - Hook----- I didn't really like it. Seemed kinda tedious for a Peter Pan movie.
07. $113,502,426 - The Addams Family---- Just plain old fun.
08. $101,599,005 - Sleeping with the Enemy----No thanks
09. $089,325,780 - Father of the Bride-----I liked it. it's just a sentimental little family comedy.
10. $086,930,411 - The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear-----I laughed throughout.

11. $082,418,501 - Fried Green Tomatoes----Missed it. On Purpose
12. $079,091,969 - Cape Fear----I've seen the original and I thought this one wasn't a bad remake.
13. $078,656,813 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II-----Is this the one with the Ooze? Meh.
14. $077,868,585 - Backdraft-----I accidently elbowed a date while seeing this at the theater. She never spoke to me again. :bluesad:

15. $074,888,996 - Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country---One fo the best Star Trek movies/episodes ever.

16. $074,787,599 - The Prince of Tides....Not my cup of tea.
17. $070,405,498 - JFK.....Haha it was funny when Stone went crazy.
18. $069,467,617 - Hot Shots!.....Hilarious
19. $063,707,829 - What About Bob?.....Double hilarious
20. $060,830,285 - 101 Dalmatians (Re-issue) (1991)....Missed it.

11. $082,418,501 - Fried Green Tomatoes- Never watched.
