Different Versions Of Songs You Like Better

I often find when a song is redone whether it be remixed or covered that I like that version much better than the original.  For example this one is a good example for me:

I absolutely CAN NOT STAND the original dippy hippy original version. Matter of fact its one of those songs I turn off after one or two seconds.  But the dance remix seems to work so nicely with the singer's voice. I could listen to that version all day.
