Actors You Like But Everyone Else Seems To Hate

I'll go first, I like Ben Stiller.  He is a bit of a one trick pony acting wise (the nerdy wise guy) but I've pretty much liked him in every role I've seen him in.

Seriously, I can't stand him, but my wife seems to think he's okay. I don't think it's an attraction thing, but I could be wrong.

I like Adam Sandler as an actor. Yep, I said it. I'm not saying that he doesn't do terrible movies. The majority of his movies are s**t. However, he has turned in some performances that I am impressed with.

You see, I kind of like Nick Cage too, but I see him get flamed on this site all the time as having no talent. I don't agree that when he's awful he's great, however, but oh well. For me when he misses, he is utterly unwatchable.

Me-I like Jim Carrey. He was great in ACE VENTURA,DUMB and DUMBER (though Jeff Daneils was better),and the CABLE GUY.

I've always found him entertaining too.  I love both Ace Ventura movies.  I have no idea why people pan the second one. 

This next one will get me shot at undoubtedly...I somewhat like Pauly Shore.

I think Keanu Reeves is pretty good. It's sad that his finest role occurred so early in his career (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure), but I've liked him in other roles as well. I don't quite get all the flak he gets about being wooden when other actors (*cough*Ben Affleck*cough*) are much worse than he is.
