In the midst of mowing lawns, picnics, barbecues, and boating, let's not forget what this holiday is about - honoring those who perished in all our nation's wars.  Whether or not we agreed with the cause of this conflict or that, the fact remains that these young men were so in love with the idea of America that they were willing to fight and die for our country's cause.  Such devotion always merits honor.  Rest in peace, soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen . . . and God Bless America!
