Two films I noticed weren't reviewed yet were ThanksKilling and Death Bed: The Bed that Eats. I found these films to be so bad they were funny, even though ThanksKilling was supposed to be somewhat of a comedy anyway. It seems that the shear lack of effort and money put into these movies was what actually made this interesting for me. To anyone who has seen these movies as well, tell me what you think of them. I am very curious to know how other people reacted to these films, or if these might be movies that you may consider seeing if you haven't yet. Additionally, don't you think these movies should be reviewed on this site too, because I do.

It's a live review. It was early on in my reviews so it has no time stamps unfortunately.

I liked THANKSKILLING.  To me, they kind of hit the sweet spot for low-budget horror comedy.  Plenty sleazy and cheesy, but not substituting grossouts for jokes.

Haven't seen DEATH BED yet but I really want to.

I agree wither of these would make good reviews for Andrew, with DEATH BED probably being the better choice (it's unique, while there are just too many other movies out there like THANKSKILLING).
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

"Death Bed" is agonizingly bad.  Even the awful acting and premise cannot help me when I watch that movie.  It has probably been three years since I last viewed the film, but I have to say that seeing it again is something I dread.

As you point out, I am going to have to watch it again, because I need to review that monstrosity.  It is too strange, overbearing, full of itself, and awfully realized to ignore.

really? I loved Death Bed, the premise of the bed eating human flesh is hilarious, because of it being an inanimate object eating humans and having a crush on a female lead. :bouncegiggle:
yeah no.

Looking back Thankskilling was funny as hell. The only thing is Thankskilling was TRYING to be bad so it's not as fun. With stuff like Ed Wood and Mac & Me you know they TRIED to make a good movie. It's funnier when the director is an idiot.

True. That's not to say I don't appreciate an intentionally bad movie, but I find the best bad movies are the ones ernestly intended.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

If you hang around-yer gonna find the best people who like the worst movies!

Thanks RCM!!!!! It's good to know that I am in good company with bad movie lovers! I actually found this youtube video that showed a FOX newscast featuring the movie ThanksKilling! Here is the link: youtube.com/watch?v=YbgPiUDqoZQ I should also mention that there is indeed going to be a sequel to ThanksKilling!! It was just announced not too long ago, but they are accepting donations that will go toward the production of the movie. You can find out more about the plans for the sequel and about how you can contribute to the production funds at kickstarter.com/projects/jordandowney/thankskilling-sequel-horror-comedy-feature-film
