The Fly - Brundlefly!
Creepshow - that final story is so unnerving  :buggedout:
Starship Troopers - Movie is hilarious and it's intentionally, deadpan hilarious.
Meet the Applegates - Been years since I actually seen this but teenage me really enjoyed it.
I will edit a 5th on in later.

The Fly (1986)
Meet The AppleGates
Arachnophobia
Joe's Apartment (If I was Jack, this would be my Starships Troopers 2 lol )
Men In Black (Do alien Bugs count???)

As a bonus, I also kinda liked 'Eight Legged Freaks' I liked the attempt to bring a B movie bug flick to a main strem audience.

God the Worms

Ah man, I totally spaced on The Fly!!! I herby re-edit.

Starship Troopers
Bug (1975)
Squirm
Naked Lunch (they're central to the "plot")
The Fly (1986)

I still recommend Sick Girl though.

1. Them! (arguably the movie that started it all and probably still the best of the bunch too)
2. The Naked Jungle (1954) - (yeah more realistic than THEM! and in some ways perhaps even scarier)
3. Mimic - (creepy idea involving insects imitating their prey)
4. Quatermass and the Pit (arguably the creepiest and most unsettling insectoid critters to grace the screen)
5. Kingdom of the Spiders - (spiders creep me out and this has William Shatner so yeah it makes the list)

Honorable Mentions:

Tarantula
Phase IV
First Men in the Moon
Horrors of Spider Island
All the Fly films (even Curse of the Fly)
The Deadly Mantis
The Monster That Challenged the World

I think that film was a more an attempt to pay tribute to those types of films from some recent information I gathered (whether that is true or not, I am not sure but I found it interesting).  That would explain why there are so many common elements from other movies of the type in it that are rather obvious.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Speaking of 8 legged freaks...anyone remember KISS OF THE TARANTULA (1976)?
It was kinda like WILLARD or STANLEY...only with a girl and tarantulas....
