Holy heck.  I only think of him as being in the Transformers movies, despite the fact that I've seen him in at least two or three other recent movies.  I forgot that he was in Eagle Eye.  I forgot that he was in Wall Street 2.  I hardly noticed him in Indy 4, Charlies Angels, I, Robot or Constantine.  It is so odd that he has been in such a wide set of movies and yet I hardly even think of him.  He's kind of like the Silence in the new Dr Who series: after he goes, you forget all about him.  Weird.

I've got two simple words why Shia Lebouf is a big name: Steven Spielberg.

Most of Shia's movies have involved Spielberg since Transformers. Speilberg really pushed his career for some reason. I still can't figure out why.

That's what I find so puzzling. He's been put in roles that would, in my opinion, require some kind of screen presence, and he has very little of it.

This is a sad thread.

You're right.
This was an old thread I started and it's extremely negative.
Can we get a lock please?

Much appreciated.

He's this generation's Robby Benson.  And I think his name sounds like some sort of meat stew.

As for me, I think "Insecure Bovine."

I really don't like him.

I'm not gonna hate on him, but he is a non entity.

Transformers, Indy, Eagle Eye, Disturbia...

I get nothing from this guy. At least keanu Reeves was likeable once. I don't like Adam Sandler but I can understand he has a goofy appeal to people, but Shia doesn't really have anything.

And what happened to Josh Hartnett ?

While I think he's neither very likable nor very talented, I can't say I hate him. Annoyed by him is more like it, and I think one of the main reasons for that is media over exposure. I'm just sick of hearing about him. He's just not interesting enough to merit all the media attention.

allow me to fill in the blanc for you.  Shia must have done some "special" favors for Mr Spielberg.  ;-)
