We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

So, in the summer of '94, Alice in Chains and Metallica were supposed to tour together.  Layne Staley, singer of AIC, had a pretty bad heroin addiction.  Due to complications from that and not wanting to tour, AIC pulled out of it.  This is a concert from that summer, where James Hetfield and the others in Metallica basically mock Layne, start playing one of his songs, then feing shooting up while saying "I can't tour, I can't tour."  Then p**sed off fans throw stuff at them.

I'm not a big fan of Metallica, but this made me pretty mad.  Considering their own issues with drugs and alcohol, they don't have to go and make fun of anyone for that.  Alice in Chains is far better anyway.

One of many reasons why I no longer have any respect for Metallica. James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich seem to regress as both musicians and human beings with every passing year...

Yeah.  I gotta be honest: I was never a huge fan of Metallica.  I think the first 3-4 cd's were fine enough.  Then you start hearing stuff like Load, ReLoad, St. Anger and such, and they're crying about Napster, and needing therapy to get through doing a cd, c'mon.  And they always seemed like jackasses.  Then they get mad when someone makes jokes about them drinking.
