Growing up in the 80s/90s I was able to catch the tail-end of the mom & pop retail store hey-days. Since DVD came around almost a decade ago I've been eagerly awaiting some of my favorite titles to come out on DVD. There's still a decent handful that have never came. I'm curious what some of yours are?

Mine are:
Alligator 2: The New Mutation
Basket Case 3
The Brain
Incredible Melting Man
Bad Channels (although this is available on DVD it's only through a Full Moon Box set package)
Arena
The Last Shark (never release in the US but my friend had a bootleg VHS tape)
It Came From Hollywood (based on copyrights this one will probably never come out for money reasons)

The Boogens!
EDIT: I guess it is on DVD, but no extras or anything.

First a word of note to the topic creator:

Basketcase 3 was released, it is out of print now though
Incredible Melting Man will be available through one of the on demand services later this month according to dvddrive-in.com

Now on to my list of dvds I'd like to see

Summer Camp Nightmare
Wacko
Massacre at Central High
The Granny (1995)

and probably about 50 more movies I can't think of off the top of my head.

Junior (slasher from 1984 - not the 90's horror movie or the Schwarzenegger/Devito flick).

Check out my movie reviews and articles at:  www.cinedump.com<br /><br />Or, don\\\'t check them out - see if I care.  You\\\'re not my real mom anyway.  Unless, you are.  In which case, whatever, I\\\'ll do what I want.  It\\\'s my hot body.  Y\\\'all don\\\'t know me.

Pete Walker's House of The Long Shadows. MGM owns the Cannon Films library so this one must have slipped through the cracks, I think.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

House of Dark Shadows and Night of Dark Shadows - I'm a huge fan of the TV series and would love to see the two movies on DVD.

Quatermass and the Pit - It's on DVD, but all I can find are really expensive used copies, like $45 used.  Oh well, I recorded it from TV onto a DVD one night, so I'm good.

The Burgomaster

I have an EXCELLENT quality DVD-R of THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN.

Here are some I would like to see:

* WILLARD (original)
* BEN
* ASSIGNMENT TERROR
* And I also vote for the two previosuly mentioned DARK SHADOWS movies

The first thing that comes to mind, just off the top of my head, is Doctor Butcher M.D. I know Zombie Holocaust is on DVD, and have a copy, but I would like to have a good DVD copy of the Doctor Butcher edit with it's corny intro, plus it moves along a little at the beginning as they trimmed some of the city scenes off that just dragged.

Now I said good copy. I do have a copy on a double-feature DVD which is just basically a VHS source transfer.

Yeah.  It would have been cool if they put both versions on the same DVD.  I have HORROR RISES FROM THE TOMB on DVD and it actually includes THREE different edits!  Same with PAT GARRETT AND BILLY THE KID.

I own Alligator 2: The New Mutation on DVD. It was included with Alligator and released in the UK by Anchor Bay.
I also own the excellent German DVD of The Incredible Melting Man which includes a pretty impressive 16:9 widescreen transfer and a full screen version.
There are several European DVD releases of The Last Shark with a beautiful 16:9 widescreen print.

That said, I want Necropolis (1987) on DVD. Not a great film but a guilty pleasure for sure.

I guess I'm a sucker for stop motion since I live in an age of CGI stuff. If not for Sin City, Pixar, and Sky Captain then George Lucas would have ruined CGI forever for me.

So to me there's no such thing as bad claymation because with weaker stop motion it still looks really weird and can be fun.

Bad CGI is just dullsville.

Dead Dudes in the House.

Not really horror movies but they do have their scary moments, Godzilla 1985 and Biollante. Released in every other place but the U.S. on DVD.

I don't really classify it as horror but I used to see it in that category at the vhs store:
Vengeance Is Mine (1974)
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."
