which gang?

if you was alive in 1979 new york, (the time the warriors was set) which gang would you be in or if you could start your own what gang would u start?

i would be in the A.C.s because i have a bald head.

if i was black though id be down with the riffs no doubt about it!

I have a shaved head (not completely bald . . . just stubbles), but I wouldn't go for the A.C.'s

I always liked the Baseball Furies, for some reason.

Actually, some of the gangs with the coolest uniforms only appeared briefly at the beginning of the movie.

There's also another movie with some cool gangs. THE WANDERERS. It has gangs like:

* THE FORDHAM BALDIES (I guess every movie needs a bald gang . . . )
* THE GOLDEN GUINEAS (I am Italian, so I can relate . . .)
* THE WONGS
* THE DEL BOMBERS
* THE DUCKY BOYS (pretty creepy, for a movie that is basically a comedy/drama)
* THE MAU-MAUS

This could be the beginning of another thread. "Greatest gang movies of all time."

Oh now this is a tough one.

I know my wife liked the Lizzies. A rough and tough lesbian girl gang in New York just made the whole movie seem worth it.

I liked the Basball Furies as well -- they reminded me of the Yankees -- NY, pinstripes.  

I'd take the Warriors though.  They were a small gang, but tough and quick.

Funny I just bought this huge warriors poster the other day. My favorite gang was the rogues with the whiney ugly dude as leader who blames the warriors- that guy is definitey the funniest character in the movie to me. If I had to pick I'd say them or the mime gang.

I'd consider the orphans, b***hslap the leader, take over and convert them into some bad motherf**kers.

Change their name to something cooler, dont know what!
