Watched "Dr. No "last night. Nice dvd. But.....the famous line..."You've had your six"....D'oh!
Sure in the book, the bad Doctor tried to shoot Bond with a S&W revolver....but in the flick, he used a Colt M1911 semi-auto!
Thats a 7 shot magazine, plus you could carry one under the hammer.
Colt...not Smith and Wesson....And the close up of the pistol in Bond's hand? Not a Walther PPK! Looked like a Browning .380 or a Makarov.....
See, hollywood....this is what happens when we can freeze frame! Thanks...for DVD!
Any Bond Boo-Boos come to mind for you guys?

Flange - Did Bond use a Walther PPK in Dr. No? I believe that his original gun was a Beretta, and M made him switch to a Walther because he had trouble with the Beretta on a mission. I'm not sure if the switch happened in Dr. No or in a later movie.

Dr. No. M made him switch there in M's office, before he went to Jamaca.  Bond tried to sneak the Baretta out with him, but M told him to "Leave it with me".
M asid Bond was in Hospitle for 6 months because the Baretta jammed on his previous mission.

Happens in Goldfinger.  Bond races against the clock to stop Goldfinger's nuke from destroying Fort Knox.  He does, with 7 seconds left on the timer, to which Bond says "With three seconds to spare."

Seems the framing of the shot showed two zeros and the number (003) and, in post-production, it was decided to be played cute and show Bond's number (007).  They just forgot to fix the line with an overdub, so it makes Bond look like he can't read a clock.
