Question about Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS

Okay, I know I haven't been on here in a while. I've been pretty busy. School and such. But I have a question. There (like there is every month) is a midnight movie this week that I'm attending. This time it's Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS. I haven't actually seen this movie (It's one of those been-on-my-to-watch-list-forever-but-never-get-around-to-seeing movies). I'm taking a few friends along, people who haven't seen too many disturbingly violent/gory/exploitation/grindhouse films.

How violent is Ilsa? Is this going to be one of those nights where I apologize to all my friends and give them their ticket money back?

Some of the torture is just silly, like the electrified dildo. However, some of the torture inflicted on the prisoners is very disturbingly close to actual wartime atrocities committed by Nazis. I, personally, would not show Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS to anyone not well acquainted and comfortable with sleaze. The other two movies in the series would be all right, though.

I wouldnt take anyone to see it. I never cared for the ILSA series too much,anyway. Much of it borders on bad porn. Its not erotic.Not a date movie. Or even fun.
Bad soft core porn with sadistic nazis. Nah.

It's one of the most depraved films I've seen. I bought it and I did think it was good for what it was, "bad nazisploitation", but I wouldn't suggest watching it with other people, particularly female friends as it basically borders on torture porn. It's more of the kind of film you watch alone out of sick curiosity.

It has some violent, disturbing scenes, but most of us in here have seen worse. People who aren't accustomed to movies like this will probably think it's over the top.

Okay, just so you cats know, I AM taking some people to this film. But people who might be able to stand it. (I said might).

Anyways, this will be interesting.

I am dying to know how this went. I can't imagine explaining Ilsa to most people. Ilsa was hard for me to watch much less those who are less accustomed to rough sleaze.

Well... It went interestingly. I took (and I hate stereotyping my friends) a stoner, my gay friend, an ADHD chick, and an "innocent" preppy girl who never watches things like this. Most of them were scarred for life and apparently have sworn off any sort of sexual activity forever.

In all seriousness, they were all kind of shocked at the stuff in the movie, but no one really got angry. And they're coming with me next month to see Wicked Wicked (In Duovision!). So it went well.

And I'm jealous Burgo, I want to buy the ILSA DVD boxed set.
