I had to go with Blood Simple and The Big Lebowski... those were no brainers.  The third one was tough, so I went with the first one I had seen by them and Raising Arizona got the vote.  I could have gone Fargo, Man Who Wasn't There, Hudsucker Proxy or really, just about anything...

also, what about films they wrote?  Crimewave?  I love that one, simply for the line "Hey baby, why don't ya come on over to my pad for a little scotch and sofa."  or even "I've never seen you here before. I like that in a woman. " ...

written by the Coen Brothers and directed by Sam Raimi... great combination.

oh, and Coen Brothers Pole... homophones are a biotch I know, but it shoud say Poll... notice the double "L", this would be the correct spelling.  thank you and have a nice day   -the spelling nazi

I really love Miller's Crossing.  Its a great pic.  Of course the Dude is a very close second.

What happened?  I thought we were voting for our favorite Coen Brothers pole.  I was going to go with Ethan's...

I guess I'm in a minority but I simply do not care for their work....especially what they did to True Grit, my very favorite western.
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

I voted for THE HUDSUCKER PROXY, THE MAN WHO WASN'T THERE, and BURN AFTER READING because nobody else had - and I felt sorry for them. I actually enjoyed all three, probably more than most folks did.

No way could I vote for INTOLERABLE CRUELTY, though.
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

I voted for Hudsucker Proxy, Big Lebowski and Raising Arizona. Honestly I've only seen about two more besides that so far.

I've honestly only seen Raising Arizona, O brother where art thou, and True Grit. And I happen to like all of them. I should probbaly watch some of their other ones sometime.

So far Raising Arizona and The Big Lebowski are tied for 1st, with my personal favorite, Fargo, nipping on their heals. Barton Fink was also in my 3 votes, but I understand that one has a more selective appeal. My wife didn't like that one at all.

voted for FARGO, BIG LEBOWSKI and BURN AFTER READING

also like RAISING ARIZONA, and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN

couldn't stand BLOOD SIMPLE, HUDSUCKER PROXY, MILLERS CROSSING or A SERIOUS MAN

Coen bros are weird they've done some films I absolutely love and some I absolutely hate.

edit: I accidentally voted for No Country For Old Men instead of Burn After Reading. fat finger syndrome...

RCMerchant

I just watched NO c**tRY FOR OLD MEN last night. Overall it was a good film...but I was very p**sed at how it ended. Did the psycho kill the wife? And he got away! I think. Very p**sed at that.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? is my favorite of theirs, although I like most.

And, no offense to anyone who likes it, but I always found Lebowski to be pretty overrated and I rarely watch it.
