It hasn't stopped raining for about 2 weeks. All I've done is sit around in my dressing gown, breathing like Darth Vader growing furious at all the gigs I've missed.

My wife calls me at work to let me know she's got a romantic comedy lined up for our viewing pleasure tonight.  Just because she knows I'd like to savor the anticipation for as long as possible beforehand.

Hey, all I did was make her watch half a dozen low budget zombie movies in the last couple of weeks.  No need to resort to such drastic forms of punishment
