Gamma Ray was formed by Kai Hansen upon his departure from Helloween. Their album "No World Order" is fantastic, you should at least check out the song "Heart Of The Unicorn".

I second Circus' thoughts on Gamma Ray, great band. I recommend their POWERPLANT and NO WORLD ORDER! albums in particular, but they're all pretty good.
