I got a cheap 12 DVD set called "Gore House Greats." My 5 faves from this set are:

Trip With Teacher
Stanley
Satan's Slave
Nightmare in Wax
Prime Evil (which really isn't real "grind house" as it was released in 1988)

The other titles kind of sucked. It also includes "The Madmen of Mandoras" which was re-edited as "They Saved Hitler's Brain." Without the material that was added it's just kind of boring. It's worth getting just for "Trip with Teacher" which is a sadist biker rapist flick in the vain of "Last House on the Left" with some unintentional humor.

yeah I also notice a few similarities to LHOTL, and they're both made in 1974. wonder which came first?

Darktown Strutters
Fight For Your Life
Master of the Flying Guillotine
Dawn of the Dead (does this one count?  Feels like it should)
Let Sleeping Corpses Lie
Check out my movie reviews and articles at:  www.cinedump.com<br /><br />Or, don\\\'t check them out - see if I care.  You\\\'re not my real mom anyway.  Unless, you are.  In which case, whatever, I\\\'ll do what I want.  It\\\'s my hot body.  Y\\\'all don\\\'t know me.

Actually, LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT was released in 1972.

Mr. Mari's Girls (1967)
Switchblade Sisters (1975)
Delinquent Schoolgirls (1975)
Teenage Gang Debs (1966)
Indecent Desires (1968)

So tough to nail down just 5.

Great list.

"Trip with Teacher" came out in 1975, so I'm sure it borrowed a little bit from "Last House on the Left" as well as movies like "Satan's Sadist" and other grindhouse classics.
