Yes, we got a Twilight Zone movie coming apparently in the distance future and Warner Bros is currently searching for a director.  They got 3 people in mind and two out of three seem pretty good to me (One I'm unsure about but I think he has potential), but one of them... will make you puke.  Anyhow, here's the articles I found:

Personally, I think they should take the four director route like the original film, each one doing their own story.  Be pretty cool.

Nolan and Bay are about the same, I don't know about Cuaron.

I wouldn't put the two in the same boat.  Even if you don't like Nolan, you can say at least he is trying to make something work or make a movie.  He is trying to make something serious or intelligent.  There's some form of substance in there.

With Michael Bay, there's nothing to his films.  They are just flashy, dumbass, juvenile, offensive at some points, trainwrecks of films.

Would you rather have the poser who is trying to be smart and deep or the drunk, pyromaniac fratboy direct a Twilight Zone film?

Considering what he was alleged to have done during filming the original, it's a wonder they let him near a camera again.

To be quite honest, I think Bay is a better director.  Bay's worst movie (Transformers 2) is merely very bad, whereas Nolan's worst movie (Batman Begins) is probably the worst big-budget, big-time movie ever made.  Hell, Nolan's best movie The Prestige, was only on the level of "ok to watch once".

Sounds criminal to me. Neither Bay nor Nolan are anywhere near worthy touching anything with the Twilight Zone name IMO.
