I saw this listed on the Chiller TV 13 Scariest Films.  Very freaky especially when we find out what the orphan really is.

I will watch it ASAP.

Burgo, I read the link and thought your comments were spot-on. A decent movie. Not great, and suffers from just the issues you spoke of, and is definitely achored by the main performance.
