This actually happened a week ago, and I just saw it. Man, this is a bad month for unique character actors.

Napier was good in just about any role he played. I even liked him as a space hippy on Star Trek.

Pity I couldn't find a decent clip of him in The Blues Brothers. "You're gonna look pretty funny eatin' corn on the cob with no f**kin' teeth."

Aw, man.  One of my all-time favorite those guys.  He made every movie he appeared in a little better.   :bluesad:

R.I.P. to yes indeed another great character actor..actually saw him only recently on a rerun of Cold Case. Know he made many appearances in TV shows including The Rockford Files, Dallas, The A-Team, Mission: Impossible and Knight Rider and he did some cartoon voice work for Superman and Men in Black. He kind of got typecast as the hard as nails army general or commander but was nevertheless usually quite good in whatever role he played.

Amen...always a personal favorite of mine. He was hilarious in "The Blues Brothers"...
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

Just looked through his imdb page.  What a body of work. Some great movies, and a lot of voice work for animation and video games. A loss to so many.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Crap, man.  Didn't know this.
