from "Hot Summer", an EAST german musical! The only musical I can ever recall liking, mainly for the music though the teenagers antics are fun in a goofy Frankie and Annette way.

Cannibal! The Musical
Team America: World Police
South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut
Grease
Wizard of Oz

Don't know if they 'technically' count as musicals, but they all have huge musical numbers in them.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

West Side Story
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Shock Treatment
Cry Baby
Guys and Dolls
Little Shop Of Horrors ( I know its not as good as the original, but I really like the songs. )
Grease 1&2 ( I know 2 is awful but I like it )

Meet Me in St.Louis....ah,Miss Judy! She was a real treasure. And Yellow Submarine...hmmm...I guess I always thought of it as more of a cartoon than a musical but it certainly works as one. I love the Beatles....in fact,my screen name most other places I go is "Beatles4ever".
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

A Mighty Wind is one of my favourite films not sure if it counts though...Spinal Tap?  otherwise not that keen on musicals tbh

I love both of those films as well, but no, they are not musicals. A musical has to have musical numbers, and those musical numbers are a story-telling component, and convey actual feelings and dialogue of the characters.
ok thanks for clearing that up,never really thought about it like that before but I suppose it makes perfect sense really...

ChaosTheory

SINGING IN THE RAIN
WEST SIDE STORY
SOUTH PARK: BIGGER LONGER & UNCUT (hey it counts, Steven Sondheimm himself declared it was the best musical of the 90s)
HAIRSPRAY (both versions)
YELLOW SUBMARINE
PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (guilty pleasure)
Most of the Disney movies up through the Golden Age (particularly SLEEPING BEAUTY, CINDERELLA, JUNGLE BOOK, ROBIN HOOD, BEAUTY & THE BEAST)
Through the darkness of future past
The magician longs to see
One chance opts between two worlds
Fire walk with me

InformationGeek

Hairspray (Remake)
Xanadu (Plot sucks, but the music is good)
Princess and the Frog
Nerima Daikon Brothers (techincally TV show, but still is musical)

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

I'm surprised THE FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL isn't high on everyone's list . . .

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

That's because the title is a sham. A SHAM I TELL YOU!

The nudie musical Let My People Come predates it by two years.
