voodoo2361

A model, her rich boyfriend & some friends take boyfriends dad's yacht out & get stranded on an island. They keep hearing dogs off in the distance. One of them is hurt so the model & the boyfriend set out to find help. They find an abandoned mansion with a dog run and numerous dog skeletons. They snoop around in the guest quarters & find a young girls diary telling of how she was raped during a party one night back in like the 30's & a picture of her. She's the exact image of the model. In the diary it tells how she got pregnant from the rape & gave birth to a mutant. The creature is still living in the mansion & has been killing their friends. The model ends up killing the creature & as the movie ends she's sitting at the end of the dock beside the boat house.

According to the Wikipedia summary it is Humongous.Traumatized by the death of her friends and the murder she has been forced to commit, Sandy sits alone on Ida's dock, strongly resembling a scarred and traumatized Ida.

The films are very similar-even down to the diary.

Just watched the trailer.  "Humongous, God help us!"  HAHHA that was funny.  I love the announcers in the seventies and early eighties.  They had the perfect voices.
