The lady voice who announces who's calling me on my new phone sounds like she's completely hammered.

You know that voice people use to immitate people whining?  I work with someone who speaks in that voice.....all the time.

I thought to myself "Should I click on Burgo's latest humorous caption post?" 

I did. 

I paid the price.

I hope my anger doesn't get the best of me someday.  There will be a lot to clean up if it does.

I for one am grateful that the 'Harry Potter' movie franchise is over. What a god-awful octet of 'cinema'. I used to be a fan of (most of) the books, and I still couldn't figure out what the hell was going on in the movies. A close examination of the series would explain certain aspects of the ADD slant in today's society though. And I don't want any comments pro-'Lord of the Rings' responses either. Those movies suck just as much.

I drained an abscess the other day...it wasn't pretty and I don't think I got it all.

Just finished gift wrapping...what an exhaustive process all for someone to later rip it all up. What the?! Oh well, that's Christmas for ya, adding to the further destruction of more and more trees...maybe all Christmas wrap should be made out of plastic like they're doing with our money these days....

Meanwhile, Kenyan planes have bombed the southern town of Bardhere, near Afmadow, Kenyan military spokesman Maj Emmanuel Chirchir confirmed on his Twitter feed.

A town was bombed, he Tweeted?!?!

I also put this heating cable up on the roof to melt the ice dams we always get up there.  Today we've got an ice dam already!  Too bad my stupid heating wire doesn't work.  Kind of hard to return it now that it's encased in ice up on the roof.  

Finally got that stupid thing replaced with a cable that works.  Only took about three hours worth of climbing around on the icy roof.  Well okay, I was actually on a ladder, but I had to reach way up on the icy roof.  There was snow up there too.
