The Burgomaster

This is low-budget piece of trash about Mr. Rabbey (Tom Basham), a creepy, immature children's TV show host who murders abusive parents.  Rabbey is sort of a cross between a psychotic Pee-Wee Herman and Jim Carrey.  One minute, he's putting on a puppet show for kids in a local hospital, the next he's killing abusive parents.  His murder methods include strangling, bludgeoning with a baseball bat, and even running over a woman with a lawnmower.

I was surprised to see a young John Ashton (who is probably most famous as Judge Reinhold's partner in BEVERLY HILLS COP) in a small role.

I can't recommend this one, but you might want to check it out because it's an odd, low-budget curiosity.  And it was made in the glorious 1970s!
