So... SOPA... if this thing passes (I don't think it will since I hear the word on the Internet street that Obama will not sign it) a lot of things will happen.  Lots of bad things, especially to pretty much every single Internet reviewer, from the guys on TGWTG to almost everyone on Youtube that isn't official.

For those of you who do not know, here's the info (There's plenty of articles and videos at this link to fill in even more about the bill):

Out of curiousity, is this site affected by this bill in any fashion?  I mean, every review here has sound bites and a small movie clip in it.  I'm not too familiar with the finer details of the bill itself, but I'm still a bit worried for us here.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

If this bill passes, then wouldn't there be HUGE riots across the Internet fans?
yeah no.

I'm hoping congress will get their head out of their butts and think for once. But I'm not holding my breathe. A number of bills passing or even getting to the floor are really making me think the nation is heading towards 1984 territory.
Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

No.  The concerns over the bill are terribly exaggerated.  The legislation is quite obviously aimed at all those sites that are streaming full movies.

Not saying its the perfect bill or that it couldn't be improved, but the predictions of Internet apocalypse are predictably ludicrous.  I have 0% concern for this site, my site or any legitimate site.  Chances are if the bill passes you will notice no difference whatsoever.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

If that IS the main goal of the bill and what it sticks too, then I have to admit I'm not 100% against it.  It always bugs me when I go on yahoo.answers or someplace and see somebody asking for a site where they can watch some film currently out in theater or recently for free. And at the same time complain about prices of tickets, cheap gimmicks and such.   That's not how you should show support for the stuff you like.

Now I've watched a few movies on youtube, so I admit I'm guilty for my part of it.  But in my defense, I look for the obscure older films that either don't have a DVD release or require a special player to watch them.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...
