70-80's sci-fi movie, aliens invading earth by showing bad movies

Hi folks!

I saw part of this movie like 15years ago and it still comes to haunt me sometimes. I'll be always grateful if anybody knows this flick.

In the movie aliens are planning to invade earth by showing b-movies to people and they abduct one human to use him as test subject. That human (and some robot??) starts to dub those movies and the hilarity ensues..

Hmm, i could swear i watched this earlier than '96.. Of course it's possible that it was so badly done that my mind just thought it was older movie.. :D
