We all know that Christmas is more about spending time with loved ones and celebrating the old time spirit and the giving gifts as has been said with other threads, but I thought it would be cool for everyone to post what they got

EDIT:

so my immedaite family and I swapped stuff and here's what i got so far: Packers 2012 calender, a traveling coffee mug, a Packers glass with my name on it,  a shirt, tires for my car

I'll update this after the rest of family has been done swapping gifts
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I got two books from my brother-in-law (both pretty good!), and my wife got me a copy of SUCKER PUNCH on DVD - my favorite movie from last year!

LilCerberus

My sister & her husband gave me a Kirkland's Folding Storage Ottoman, which they meant to give me last year...

My mom gave me a red Stafford bow tie, a pair of SpyNet Video Glasses, & an EdenPure GEN3 Model 500 heater.

My StepDad gave me an electric socket splitter, & a new belt, one I actually like for a change.

Got some cash (comes in handy, broke til Thursday.)

Also got: some VISA Gift Cards (also helps, cause it works as a credit card online and debit card at stores, and there's items I need.)

Also: one of my aunt's got me this huge 450-500 page book, the WWE Encyclopedia. I'm a huge wrestling fan.

My mom got me a couple t-shirts froj the WWE website, notably t-shirts of my two favorite WWE Superstars: CM Punk and Zack Ryder.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

Got a couple pairs of jeans, a couple shirts, a belt and a pair of shoes.  Some video games and DVD's (I just bought those myself because of Amazon and their darned irresistible sales), but my favorite surprise - the complete set of Are You Being Served? DVD's

Zapranoth

A copy of Halo Anniversary Edition, which is great fun.
A blu-ray of Galaxy Quest, which was great fun to watch again.

A bag of Twizzlers, already consumed now.
Some fudge, a chocolate orange.  (Ditto.)

Everyone's healthy and no big drama at the year's end... Priceless.  :)

I got a lot of money, but that's not the most note worthy thing I got.  I got tons of books, basically comics, so here's a list:

American Vampire Vol. 2 by Scott Snyder
Brightest Day Vol. 3 by Geoff Johns
Green Lantern: War of the Lanterns by Geoff Johns, Peter J. Tomasi, and Tony Bedard
Batman: Knightfall Part 2 by Chuck Dixon and Doug Moehch
Arisa Vol. 1-3 by Natsumi Ando
Cage of Eden Vol. 3 by Yoshinobu Yamada
Claymore Vol. 18 by Norihiro Yagi

My eldest thinks he is funny: he gave me the Zardoz dvd - because he "heard it was bad".   I'm going to make him watch it with me.  :bouncegiggle:

He made up for it in part by also giving me the Turner Classic Movies collection with THEM!, The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms, World Without End and Satellite in the Sky.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

A Marvin figurine to join the crew by the computer.  :hot:

A Hoops and Yo-yo coffee cup that talks. (But is not likely to shoo the cat since it needs to be tipped to activate)

Four T-shirts: all muppets.  (Cookie Monster, Oscar, and two of the same one of Elmo.  Is someone trying to tell me something?)

Two horse books and a fantasy novel.

A silver rocking horse tree ornament.

Silicone oven mitts. (I asked for these)

A "Forgotten English" daily desk calendar.

A bag of peppermint horse treats and an extra-wide coffee mug (the first for the beasties, the last for for Bug, not me, I expect! )

And in my stocking the usual fruit and ton of chocolate.  Including the obligatory chocolate orange and a box of chocolate covered blueberries.  Oh my.  Flavoured teas, peanut brittle, sponge toffee (a weakness) and cashews and pistachios all my very own.

Those chocolate oranges are yummy, but if you don't buy them early in the Christmas season (around here) they disappear.

  Yup.  Tracking down the elusive chocolate orange occupies a large portion of our pre-Christmas shopping hours.   But they're worth it!

FatFreddysCat

My kids got me "Captain America: The First Avenger" on DVD and my brother got me Iced Earth's new CD, "DYSTOPIA."

My wife got me 20 pairs of crew socks. Woohoo!  :teddyr:
