A few minutes ago, our receptionist said, "Well, at least I got a little out of the hole."  I couldn't pass up the opportunity to reply, "That's what she said."  (You can't believe some of the inappropriate things that are said in my office.  This was actually pretty tame.)

To give you some perspective, for office Christmas gifts I gave this receptionist a bottle of wine and a t-shirt that says, "f**k you, you f**king f**k."  She loves the shirt.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

When I was involved in theature arts in my early college days, there was a comedy variety show that I was not cast in, but was helping out with the lighting for. There was some running gag, very Laugh-In like, where there were holes in the wall of the stage background where certain cast members would pop up and make some comment about the main action on the scene or sketch going on at the time. Each cast member had their assigned "hole." I don't remember much about the show because I wasn't too interested in it at the time. I was just trying to get credit for helping with the lights.

Anyway, it was a dress rehearsal and the scenery had just been put up for the first time, and the cast members were figuring out which "hole" was their's. So a female cast member at some point shouted "where's my hole!?"

The direct, without skipping a beat, shouted "that's what she said."
