Great moments in action movie homoeroticism

The My Little Pony FIM thread made me think of this, with the question of what constitutes healthy, appropriate male entertainment. What could be more manly than a good action film? There are three things particularly distinctive about the great action movies of the 80s - big guns, rock music and hypermasculinity with homosexual undertones. A lot of those movies could get pretty gay at times, which makes me laugh now when I think of the most homophobic guys I knew as a teenager watching them religiously.

Anyway, what are some of the best examples? Could be scenes, images or characters. Try to limit yourself to one per post.

I'll start it off with the volleyball scene from Top Gun.

Not really an action film, but a pretty famous example would have to be Nightmare on Elm Street 2!

First he gets Matrix in the back, then he threatens to shoot genitalia, and then "lets off some steam" through a big, stiff pipe.

But yes, I still love the movie.  :teddyr:

And even Vernon Wells knew he looked like Freddie Mercury on steroids in that role.

Why don't we just stick with TOP GUN?

The woman wants the man so badly.  He's so attractive.  Okay, well every frustrated man needs a semen receptacle, even if it's not a fighter jet.

The "orgasm" scene in Point Break where Keanu Reeves can't bring himself to shoot Patrick Swayze and fires off his pistol into the air, screaming. Nick Frost parodied this scene well in Hot Fuzz.  :teddyr:

The whole movie PENITENTIARY (1979). The scene at the beginning when Leon Issac Kennedy is fighting the guy in his tightie whities is very gay.

I posted him in the pony thread as well, but he's worth repeating. The action movie character even gayer than Bennett - "Fifi."

He's such a stereotype, I have to think there was some conscious irony there, an intent to imply something about the macho highway cops. I mean, I could accept that his whole "leather daddy" image is unplanned, but then they gave him birds and plants and called him Fifi, as if to remove all doubt.
