LOL! Saw this one last night on TV and I am still laughing! Oh, the 80s, where the story of a wasted teacher sent to a suburbian high school could be made into an action movie with some mild violence and lots of synthethiser music!

Basically it plays like a remake of "High noon place", but changing Gary Cooper for James Belushi (sic) and the western setting for a troubled high school. THe good part of it, apart from the western structure is that it wasn't made on the PC era of the 90s, so instead of "Dangerous minds" it is more like an action movie, with Belushi kicking the s**t out of troublemaker students and riding a motorbike with the words "El Principal" on fire! Really! Not that I advocate for this kind of behaviour (I am to become a teacher myself soon), but it makes a thousand times funnier watc than any "Dangerous minds" type of movie.

Oh, and Belushi was (just for once) great!

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

The Burgomaster

This movie is also basically the same as THE SUBSTITUTE (with Tom Berenger), as well as the less violent LEAN ON ME.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Grumpy Guy

All based on true events, although only Lean On Me had anything resembling accuracy.

--"I doubt if a single individual could be found from the whole of mankind free from some form of insanity.  The only difference is one of degree."
--Desiderius Erasmus

Will

Love it. Armed with only a baseball bat and louis gosset, jr. Jimmy saves the day. Fabtastic flick.
