Oddly enough, James, one of my good friends is from Point Blank!!!

Texas certainly has some odd place names:
Bugtussle
Muleshoe
Gun Barrell City

And some geographic names as well:
Italy
Palestine
Paris
Holland

There's lots more; those are just the ones I've been to!

Nice. Just the combination of the words "Point Blank" and "Texas" made me laugh.

QuoteAs far as I can tell, there aren't any city limits. For one thing, there isn't any city.

Some folks have theorized that Monkey's Eyebrow is a state of mind.

I'm well aware of the quaint and wonderful naming conventions of rural Kentucky. My ancestors were actually among the very first to settle Kentucky. There is a tiny little place outside of Bowling Green named after my family, Boyce, KY. It's not even a town, really, but it's got a weather listing on weather.com. Still plenty of Boyce's around KY and apparently they started Boyce College.
