so I've been sick for 15 straight days now

yup....

my dad was coughing like hell when I went to visit him in Florida and I got whatever he has. Finally going to see a doctor today. Should be interesting not only to see what I have but because the only other time I drove whilehaving this illness I felt much worse upon getting home.

so the doctor says I got a sinus infection and a touch of bronchitis

hr wrote perscription for some pills that should make me feel better in a week

Always take it easy when your sick. Also, you probably drink some Sprite when your stomach is acting up.

Sprite, orange juice and chicken soup seem to help in these cases. Don't hold back on them, either. Drink up!

so in addition to those diseases something has come up which is frankly scaring the hell outta me

my throat has been bleeding the last 2 days

I read up one the causes of this and constant coughing over 15 days is one of them

hoping after 2 more days of the meds and this stops if not I'm heavily leaning towards seeing the doctor again

I'm inclined to think that the cause is nothing more than that. Not that it makes it any more pleasant, of course. But I'm not a doctor, so I wouldn't wait if I were you. If you're coughing up blood I wouldn't wait 2 days. I understand you're waiting to see if the meds clear it up, but still, I would at least give your doctor a call and see if the nurse practitioner can at least talk to you and give you some advice.

I agree, give them a call and ask them if it's anything to worry about. It's probably just a symptom of coughing so much but no sense in taking a chance. I'm guessing they could probably prescribe you a stronger cough suppressant.
