I saw D'Jango, it was pretty good.

You should see some of Kurosawas Samurai Westerns. Those are damn good.

(Yojimbo, Sanjuro, The Seven Samurai, others...)

Mookieflukie-

The Burgomaster

An interesting note about ANGEL AND THE BADMAN: the movie WITNESS, starring Harrison Ford, is VERY, VERY similar. Watch it and see what I mean.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Neville

Woah, that's a hell of a list. Did you happen to find that italian western we talked about months ago? It was "Face to face", by Sergio Collima and starring Gian Maria Volonte. I found it damn good.

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Scott

Thanks, I thought that was a Thomas Millian film under a different title, ok I'll add Face to Face this to the list.

Well, I'm really on a Western marathon this week. Caught GUNMAN'S WALK (1958) which is a very good western starring Van Heflin and Tab Hunter. Solid and interesting drama that is kinda like GIANT. How is it that westerns can produce so many good films in a single genre.

TRAIN ROBBERS (1903) - Thats right, this film was made 100 years ago and they showed it today on Encore Western Channel. The film is only 10 minutes long. Neat piece of film history.

THE DESPERADOS (1969) - Starring Jack Palance in a film that is about as bad as GOD'S GUN, but if your a JACK PALANCE fan you must really see this one. This guy is insane.
