Because of all the well-needed rain we have had this winter our Texas Bluebonnets are going crazy....

How about yours?
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

Arizona's is the Saguaro Blossom (cactus flower). I have no idea when that actual blooming season is, but given it's a cactus I doubt the rains have much to do with it.

In Minnesota it's the pink and white Lady Slipper

Originally our state flower was the Lady Slipper (Cypripedium calceolus), but then they found out they don't grow in Minnesota.  :bouncegiggle: So they changed it to the pink and white one (Cypripedium reginae). They must be fairly rare as well as I've lived here all my life and have never seen one.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

Apparently Kentucky's state flower is the goldenrod (who knew?). We're better known for our state bird, the Cardinal:

Beautiful creatures and we really do see them quite often.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Right. Arizona is not particularly known for our state flower either. We're more known for our state person: the desert psycho.

Oregon Grape.  An evergreen shrub that grows little yellow flowers and blue berries, that maybe somewhat resemble grapes, though the Oregon Grape is not in itself a grape at all.

That's a beautiful stretch of highway with the flowers covering the sides.  Imagine riding along that for twenty miles.

Delaware's state flower is the peach blossom, which is perfect for me.  Not only are they nice to look at and lovely to smell, but they mean PEACHES are coming - that I can eat.  I love peaches.  Is it peach season yet?

We don't have a state flower ~ although some parts of this country are in a bit of a state  :tongueout: ~ but our national flower is the King Protea.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Wow, That's  beautiful.   NYS flower is the Rose. My Mom planted a  wonderful Rose bush, years ago, and every time they bloom, already  I see signs, people  would love them. Unfortunately, some would pick them while  no one was home. After all, It was  the NYC part of  NY. :teddyr:

Yellow roses are my favorite...after all,I am a Texan.

That reminds me of a blooming yellow rose avatar I used to have over at Memorylane. Our dear mutal friend,Enjaydee, sent me a PM thanking me for putting it up for it was his Mum's favorite. I miss Nigel.

     Here's Ohio's....

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

I live in Illinois. This is our state flower.

Although if you want to get technical, the violet is our state flower.

I miss alot of folks, Mom is top of the list. You never get over death of someone you love, you just keep moving on and doing the best you can and try to be forgiving to those who don't quite  make it.

As a fairly recent Georgia immigrant I was a bit surprised to find the state flower is NOT the Peach Blossom, it's the Cherokee Rose.

FUNF ACT: A Cherokee Rose featured prominently in a recent episode of The Walking Dead. The episode was in fact titled Cherokee Rose.
