Cause alchohol actually depletes you. You get puffy in the face when you drink-but you get flabby. You lose weigt. When you stop-you get healthy. Yer not getting fat, dear, yer getting healthy. I know. Im an alchoholic-I quit many times-I gained a little weight-and thought I was getting fat. I craved candy-(Ju Juy Fruits and Goobers). I was not fat. I was up to 135 pounds! I felt fat. I'm still 135 pounds, and I only drink on weekends. (Oh-by the way-for 5 foot 2-135 pounds is fat tom. Yet my wife was 6'2 and weighed 212....go figure...).

What were we taliking about?

What's Sod's Law?
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

yeah I have been eating more I guess, but I was a habitual beer drinker to excess. like 8 cans a day? never put on weight. given up for a year now and way fatter. suppose your explaination proves why...

oh apparently you weird american people call Sod's Law  'Murphy's Law'? not sure it has exactly the same meaning but I expect so...

edit, no not quite the same

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sod's_law

the definition is "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual". like an unfortunate irony.
