I'm so happy I located this CD. I thought I had lost it:

And a new favorite I picked up

I used to have a subscription to the BBC Music Magazine. I should get that again. They send out a CD in every issue. I'm currently listening to one that contains performances of William Walton's Symphony No. 1 and Toru Takemitsu's "from me flows what you call time."

My local public library is having its annual Book Sale this week and I picked up a couple of CDs along with an assortment of geeky Star Wars and Alien Vs. Predator paperback novels...

Heart - DOG & BUTTERFLY and JUPITER'S DARLING
Emerson, Lake & Palmer - THE BEST OF ELP

I've never owned any Heart on CD before, but I'm diggin' these. I always did kinda like their "radio hits," and besides, who didn't have a big time crush on Nancy Wilson back in the day? Haha

As for the ELP, I bought it mainly because Greg Lake's cynical Christmas single "I Believe in Father Christmas" is the last track and I've always liked that one. Aside from that, "Lucky Man" and "From the Beginning," the rest is a little too over-the-top, wacked-out proggy for me.

Frank if you were a little kinder I'd reward you for that.  AMY WINEHOUSE was certainly talented.  I love her and listening to her does make me sad.

I'm kind to people who are kind.

Vangelis has done some great music pieces, I'll forgive him for his music  in support of French riots in the 60's, but, I  won't fiorgive him for providing anything to the truly awful oliver Stone 'Alexander.' :teddyr:
