this is one of my favorite movies, i feel like a kid watching it. for some reason, it makes me want to eat pistaccio pudding. its also one the worst movies ever made, thats part of its charm. who knows why they would waste the money on something like this in the first place. im glad they did though.  i dont know what to think about the remake, its kind of shocking in a way. will it be more obscene? more gross? more cute? maybe violent? why? discuss.

I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

I did not think it was a bad movie.  Very Cheese.  I did not like how the rest of the GPK were killed off in the movie and only a few select were left.  It was very very eighties.  If they make a remake I would like to see ALL of the kids in the movie.  With the CGI now we could see Adam Bomb and the other kiddos.  Will be interested to see.

I love the original although it is HUGELY flawed, make no mistake. If I remember rightly, some parents kicked up a fuss over it being too crude for kids - So I dread to think what computer technology and sex mad pop culture will turn it into in this decade!

You have a good point there CC.

I will say if the film-makers were to make the GPK characters anything like the cards the rating of the movie could be a PG-17 to an R rating.  This would be well for the people that grew up with the GPK but it would limit the fan base.

I would still not mind seeing it.   :cheers

I saw it  recently, a few minutes, on a  'THIS' a  free digital channel. It came off creepy. I never  understood the appeal  of Garbage Pail Kids, I was  a  Wacky  Pack fan. :teddyr:

I can't believe those hollywood a****les are going to ruin another cinematic masterpiece

...a good bad movie is like a good cheeseburger , very bad for you , tasty , and loaded with cheese
