I really think that is a boring movie! No gore and not funny at all! I don't understand why everyone loves it so much! No one else seems to hate this movie but me.

You're right.....everyone here (to my knowledge) loves it but you.

What exactly didn't you like about it?

Well, I've only seen a few minutes so I can't be counted as one that 'loves' it, but it seemed pretty interesting to me so I'll pick it up some time

It's a BRILLIANT and original movie.....come on, the idea (explained in the film) that humans' concept of clowns came from these aliens visiting Earth a long time ago.....not to mention how all the "clown" gags (balloons, popcorn, cotton candy....you name it) all turn out the be weapons of some sort or another.

Just because it "had no gore" is hardly an indication that it's a bad movie, you know....Try broadening your tastes a bit, sir. KILLER KLOWNS is very, very funny!

In a very sick way, admittedly....its the sheer audacity of the whole concept that nakes it work, ithink.

I don't like it very much.  Some of the effects were good but ... that's about it.

Well to me I've always had a good time watching this film and so has my brother and he's barly half as good at watching bad movies as me, (Uh.. does that make sense?)

Hey, I liked it and the films concept was pretty damn original with a few silent nods to THE BLOB (1958) and INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (1956). I mean, the idea of killer aliens in the form as clowns it pretty good and the film is meant to be taken as a dark-humored story. So yes, laughs are intentional.

Also, despite being a tounge-in-cheek film most of the mainstream critics didn't get the film's joke. For example, the Chiodo Brothers told how a critic slamed the scene involving two of the 'Killer Klowns' using a baloon-dog to track down their victims. The critic said, "This film is so low budget, that the aliens use a baloon-dog to chase their victims." That's part of the film's humor, for Christ's sake! The aliens are clowns, so a killed baloon-dog is definately an option.

I like it.  I wouldn't say love it.  It can move a bit slow at times, but the humor is pretty awesome.  Maybe I just need to see it more.  I just liked microwave massacre when i watched it the first time, but after buying it and watching it a few more times, I grew to love it.  Now it's one of my favs.

My favorite scene is when the clown tries to get the girl to exit the restaurant and he has that giant mallet behind his back!

I didn't care much for it, either. Maybe someday I might like it.
