Been revisiting the Beastie Boys a lot lately   :bluesad:

Also listening to Abbey Road, as it puts me in the summer mindset for some reason.

NEIL YOUNG Decade
 
This album is a mixed bag for the NEIL YOUNG fan, and has always generated a bit of controversy.  The early songs are wonderfully overproduced, and (typical for NEIL) corny, and BAD.  I love them.  But this record probably does include NEIL YOUNG's first great recorded song: "Sugar Mountain".  I defy you upon one listen to not remember it.  Doesn't matter if you like it.

All we can do is live.  Live, guys.  

I didn't like this album much 30+ years ago (though I had the 45 "Cars").  Now it is a wallow in nostalgia.  And I really like it.

Got sent this to review for my site by the band's vocalist



It's from 1996, is Russian, is very weird, but also fairly boring. May be a tough write up.
