Quite the discovery, though I have very little understanding of what it means  :bouncegiggle:

That Peter Higgs guy must be having a great day.  According to the article he first proposed the idea of the Higgs boson back in the '60s, and now at age 83, he's lived to see its existence confirmed.  The beer's on me Pete   :cheers:

Saw an article this morning about it on Reddit. It's far from confirmed though. Looks like they still have a ton of work to do before they will know for sure. Honestly, I would be surprised if CERN has found it this quickly.

Actually-I think it has happened-and I think it's f**king cool.
And I think it will be used to find groovy ways to blow up the world.
