What are your thoughts on this sequel? I think its outrageously messy with too much story, obviously split from multiple drafts, being crammed together, a bit too much humor that's poorly timed, many plot holes and the most laughably bad CGI werewolfs that look/sound more like constipated apes mixed with werehogs. On the plus side the pacing is ok, I liked some of the Gothic visual cinematography and some of the characters are decent, we also get to see Julie Delpy's tits which I'd like to get my "hands on."

For reference point, we go from this in 1981:

to this in 1997:

Big, big fan of AAWIL, and have refused the existence of ...PARIS.

I did enjoy your 'constipated apes and werehogs' comment, so that is something to come from PARIS.

Professor Hathaway:  I noticed you stopped stuttering.
Bodie:      I've been giving myself shock treatments.
Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.

I was kinda young for the original when it came around, but I sure liked this one!

The first one was well done. The people involved were trying to make a good movie.

The second one seemed churned out and rushed. The people involved were trying make a good profit.

I liked the Paris film, flaws and all. Not sure of it's background but apparently two writers from 'Freaked' contributed to Paris.

Not sure if they wrote the final version though.

Heard talks of a third but it's been 15 years so looks doubtful.

Well, 2005 brought us "A Mexican Werewolf in Texas." Though, the title should have been "A Mexican Chupacabra in Texas."

And 2012 brings us the porn parody of "An American Werewolf in London."

And 2014 will bring us the remake of "An American Werewolf in London."
