A sad day in the rock world. His work with Deep Purple and Whitesnake is the stuff of legend. Nobody could play a Hammond like Jon Lord.

Very bummed. The man took a Church related musical instrument - the Organ! -- and made it ROCK.

Listened to my Deepest Purple best-of CD several times today in tribute.
