Five and half months, 240 pages, and still going strong!  I think the finished work is going to run around 400 pages, so I am over halfway done.  It has been incredibly fun.  I begin to think it may even have commercial possibilities!  My goal now is to be finished by Christmas, and shopping for publishers in the spring.

     Do you have room for a middle aged, semi-negro, NorthCoast rock-and-roller type character? Perhaps as President?
If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

     The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

I don't think I have ever heard anyone use the term "semi-Negro" before!!!!! :buggedout:

Finished Chapter 20 tonight.  I am now over the 300 page mark, and about 3/4 done with the story.  The end is in sight!

Seven and a half months of work, and tonight I crossed the 400 page mark!
I have a chapter and a half to go, and a short epilogue.

I have never completed anything of this magnitude before. I look back over what I have written, tightening up this sentence and adding a word to round out that one, and I find myself thinking - did I REALLY do all this?

I am hoping to be completely finished before I come back to work from Thanksgiving break.
