In season two this once fine show left the tracks, sailed over a harbor of sharks, smashed into the ground, rolled ten times, burst into flames, came apart at the seams, and its remains were carried off by fire ants.

(Um, it was really, really, bad.)

So...skip it?

I watched Season 1 when I had HBO. Was about to grab season 2 on dvd

Well, I loved season one but season two was so bad it diminished it in retrospect. I almost wish I hadn't seen it. Every character on the show was misused and the entire season was filled with plotlines I couldn't have cared less about. Some of the revelations were just awful and I wondered what the writers were thinking. I don't know if I would say skip it but you might be doing yourself a favor if you did.
