Been searching for years!!! Plz help!

Back between 2000 and 2004, highschool era, me and a friend watched this movie about this girl who would see monsters.. I think it was like a conspiracy to her, I think the viewer was made to think that other people outside of the girl character saw these monsters too.. At the end of the movie the girl is in a locked room and walks towards a door and see's a bunch of nurses and patients in a room. And then a monster jumps at her from outside of the door towards the window and she freaks out.. and then the nurses come in and sedate her - and then the twist unfolds that she ends up being schizophrenic at the end of the movie.

There is also an alternate ending where she goes in her locked rooms closet, at the end of the movie, and a bunch of monsters attack her and take her away in to the darkness..

I believe the movie was made between 2000-2004.. as the movie has an alternate ending you can choose on the dvd. I can't remember what this movie was called!! Please help if you can.

That's an interesting idea.  I will say that this most reminds me of "The Ward," but it was just made in 2010.

The part about it ending with the monsters taking her away into darkness within the closet reminds me of the film "They" from 2002.
