I saw a movie in the 80d I think.  Young men get drunk and pick up an Indian girl. One of them rapes and kills her. They clean up the evidence. Towns people don't care so no one gets in trouble. One of the men can't livd with it and tells years later after the secret drives him to alcoholism. So he tells, and the police go all over and arrest the remainder of the men. I think it was based on a true story.
