Inspired by Alan's post a video for a member thread, I thought of this since I was working with these pix.

For BELA, our own RCMerchant (Ron):

Two different artists...?  Who are the artists?  :teddyr:  I have an idea, but don't know.
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

Leah

yeah no.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

tracy

Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

The octopus in Question is one of the most deadliest creature on earth. The venom has been known to kill people, and is only found in Australia. it is the Blue Ring Octopus.

This is my awesome signature.  Jealous?

I think the Blue Ring is also found around Okinawa.  I know that they are very deadly.  Maybe Alan is too? :teddyr:

Wasn't the artist James Bama (the same guy who did the Bantam Books Doc Savage covers in the 1960s and 70s)?

Both of those are cover illustrations from FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND, and were rendered by their artist, Basil Gogos.

The Phantom of the Opera painting was done by Basil Gogos, for FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND, Issue #16, then re-used for Issue #171.
