How long does it take to fly airmail to South Africa, anyway?     What do they do - strap it to a goose?

:teddyr: :teddyr:

If I send something overseas, it takes about a month. You have to post it as you can't email coffee to a cat.

*Sigh* the alternative was to send it by regular mail, which they told us could take up to 3 months (those ships are sloooow!), so I guess one month is an improvement...even though the anticipation is driving me crazy!  Got to tell those pilots to flap their arms harder.

I've been meaning to look into whether I can send maple syrup by post...but I'm thinking these days they'll say 'no' to a parcel containing liquid in a bottle.   :buggedout:

:teddyr: :teddyr:

Our customs people will no doubt eat the syrup.
